What it does
Media is where family and friends browse films and TV and request what they want to watch. Requests go to the home library for approval.
Features
Browse and request
Search films and TV, see what is already there, and request what is not.
Approval
Every request waits for a yes before anything happens.
Status
See where each request stands.
How it was built
This one is off the shelf: Seerr, an open-source request manager, behind the same front door as the rest. An earlier custom reskin was retired in favour of Seerr's own interface. Knowing when not to build is part of the job.
